Founded in 2011
In the last 12 years, Angel Savage Nicholas has created shelters across Louisiana as well as in Mississippi. She was in Donaldsonville, Louisiana six years ago when she encountered a Lufkin native who told her she needed to come to East Texas. In January 2022, the Lufkin woman’s son committed suicide and asked Angel to come to Lufkin. Upon arriving in Lufkin, Angel was introduced to the Lewis family, who ended up donating The Lewis Motel at 907 Kurth Drive to be used as a shelter. This faith-based sanctuary extends its arms to the homeless and helpless, offering not just temporary shelter, but a pathway to renewal. The Mission welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own stories and struggles.

THE ROYAL PRIESTHOOD KMM IS A FAITH BASED MINISTRY THAT FOCUSES ON THE REDEVELOPMENT OF LIVES AND COMMUNITIES, BUT WE DO NOT REQUIRE ANYONE TO BE A CHRISTIAN. A VARIETY OF PEOPLE COME THROUGH OUR DOORS, AND OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE HOPE TO ALL THAT ARE IN NEED OF HELP. WE ASSIST WITH MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION, PRESCRIPTIONS, HOUSE KEEPING, FOOD AND CLOTHING. WE HOST INSPIRATIONAL CLASSES EVERY MORNING.
ROYAL PRIESTHOOD KMM IS A DRUG FREE ZONE. ALCOHOL, PARAPHERNALIA, AND VAPES, ARE PROHIBITED ON THE PREMISES. SECURITY IS PROVIDED WITH TOP-OF-THE-LINE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE 24 HOURS A DAY, FOR EVERYONE'S PROTECTION. WE ALSO HAVE A TRAINED STAFF THAT IS STRONG AND PATIENT TO HELP.
